The youngest of Luanne's "projects", this vaguely humanoid, lupine child is yet to be named.
As revealed in a side-story, Where Babies Come From, he is the unplanned child of a demonkin drug addict. Luanne stole him from his bad home environment, and changed him into what he is today.
The pup is generally playful and mostly quiet, with a few little woofs and gibberish here and there. He's curious and good natured, and seems very happy in his strange family unit.
While Luanne is not the most attentive mother, Victor picks up some of the slack, while Xan keeps her distance. Although Xan is uneasy around the pup, the pup is quite fond of her, and often playfully attacks her, as puppies (and some children) are prone to do.
How the Character Came About I've never given him a name. Sometimes, I have ideas, but they never stick. But, he's been a character attached to Xan-and-Luanne plot ideas since 2003, I think. He was always meant to be kinda creepy. Creepier than Victor, because he is an adult who chose to be changed by Luanne. But not the pup. He calls Luanne's morals into question, making her kind of a mad scientist, without the science. Mad creator, perhaps.
Later in his development, I wanted to muddle up the situation more by making him definitely a human she stole (I had originally thought maybe she created him from nothing, or that he was an animal she had made more human). Not only is he stolen, but stolen from a bad environment. It shows Luanne's compassion, but then she basically makes him an experiment.
