End of Chapter 1

There's so much I want to say about this page, and I think a lot of it is god-like snickering as some things fall together.

This is the end of the first chapter, which included and excluded so many pages. Maybe ten pages were dropped, but almost that much were added. So, woot. Here's the end of the beginning. Yay me.

The page is larger than the others because Drake's font (Lime) is a super-bitch. *ahem* I mean it's difficult to work with at times. But it captures his smooth talkingness. Through the main characters, we will rarely see him as a great charmer, but rest assured, he is.

What's an anti-infernalist? Someone who is opposed (politically, racially, or religiously) to demons. The average person in this comic would think of an anti-infernalist as a terrorist. What is Dis? The location, silly, but more about that in the interlude.

Yes, Helena and Isobel are an item. Helena is not usually such a bitch. But she and Drake have an ongoing thing, because Drake thinks that she's a washed up nobody. Gender preference is hardly an issue in this setting. Race (in the sense of demon, human, and demonkin) is a much bigger issue. Even what generation demonkin makes a difference.

More babbles about this at the LJ, which I encourage you to read, especially for this post (11/25/04)
