Getting closer to the realm of real art, I suppose. More recent at top

A random fae. Not a character, but cool nonetheless. The left side is messed up because it's from the edge of my little sketchbook and the binding can only allow so much bending.

Luanne....ish? It's a Luanne-like person, with a cute expression, in motion. Done in class. Flavored with boredom.

So, drawing King of Serpents side comic, as well has some Hanna pages, resulted in this doodle of Hanna smiling hatefully at a little floating snake. Perhaps it's a snake that has gotten independent of the King. I think she has a knife behind her back. Her hateful smile is almost tender.

Isobel, with some face paint, contacts (her eyes are blue gray naturally) and horn decorations.

Just a sneak peak at a layer of coloring for a character that will make his violent appearence somewhere in chapter 2. He won't look like that in the beginning, tho. That's his casual wear. *grin*

Not really an icon for anything. Just a doodle.

Luanne, modeling a tee shirt with Sleater Kenny lyrics. But she's too young to have listened to that band when she was in the US, and they don't import punk to Dis, so she can't have that shirt as a reference to that band in the comic.

Some doodles, practicing Luanne's expressions. Generally more cartoony and younger looking than I wanted, but I love the one where she's apparently been hit on the head.

Also, a similar page of Xan practice. The one with the knives is her being more violent that she'll generally be in the comic. I experimented with her hair (ie, what would she do with it when it's not loose?), and the length of her face. I've always intended for her to have a kind of long face, and a slender, long nose.

These ladies, however, will be in and out. Nothing big. Charm, the one in the foreground, appears to have misplaced her wings. I don't know why I didn't draw them.

Hanna, looking a bit confused.
There are more Shadow of a Doubt doodles and colored attempts at my Deviant art gallery. There's even early Hanna and Xan sketches, from when they were mage characters.
Oh, and just because Luanne has horns in one of those drawings doesn't mean she's demonkin in this story. That's mage Luanne. Different story.
